Angie Rever
Owner and Head Trainer
Angie has always had a love for animals but mostly dogs. From a young child she always dreamed of working with animals. At age 11 she was able to find her passion for dog training through a chance encounter at a local mall, where she was introduced to an organization that trained dogs for hearing and mobility assistance. Angie started volunteering with the organization and continued for seven years. Learning as much as she could about training dogs and how dogs can help people with disabilities. Later Angie took a few years off of training other people's dogs to raise her two small kids. She continued to train her own dog as well as family and friends dogs. She also took this time to explore other areas of the dog world. She worked at two vets offices, an independent pet food store, and an independent pet food distribution center. During this time she learned a lot about pet health and nutrition. Angie later found her way back into dog training, taking an internship with one of the leading dog training centers in Maryland. There she learned how to fix unwanted behaviors through behavior modification. After completing her internship she was hired on as a full time trainer at that facility. After working in a facility for many years Angie made the decision to start her own dog training business in Arizona. It took lots of planning but in 2014 Angie and her family, two kids, three dogs, four cats, and a husband made the long trip across the country to Arizona. In 2015 after settling into her new surroundings Angie opened Mr. Canine Training, making her dreams come true.
